Hai., I'm Ranjith...
ReplyDeleteI have completed my Bcom last year. Now I would like to be an 'interior designer'. I'm verry much interested in this field...
But now I'm confuced of, whether a diploma cource is better or not...
Can I take masters digree after taking a 1 year or 2 year diploma...?
Help me plz...
Hi Ranjith,
DeleteGreat to know that you are interested in Interior designing. Actually it is a professional course, so your interest does matters. Therefore, complete diploma first and start doing interior work and after if you reqd masters then go for it.
Thank u Rajaditya...
DeleteBut one doubt about, a diploma holder can go for PG...
the salary info is wrong here, you cannot expect high salary as an interior designer, you will start at 10 - 15 thousand or less per month even with a degree. Diploma is better because if you take masters degree, there will only be research work, no one will teach you anything. I took on masters after bca and am having the toughest time to cope up with so much, and most colleges have shut the masters course for non b. design holders.
ReplyDeleteHi i'm Rekha...I have completed my M.Sc-IT, but i m interested in doing diplomo in Interior designing..Will it help me in my carrier...? Plz help me

ReplyDeleteFirst earn any professional degree as interior designing is not full time earning source and demand is thin. Degree in engineering will give you additional advantage.
DeleteHi I have done my graduation in Bca last yr. From past yr I m with my Dad in his construction business I have interest in interior designing so now what should I do diploma of 2 yr or a degree course like pg or ms
ReplyDeleteSo
You can go ahead with 2 yrs if you planning to continue construction business afterwards. Simply, practical knowledge is essential therefore getting a diploma/degree does not matter a lot if you will use interior skill in personal business.
DeleteTip : Get involved yourself in interior design and concept.
